Ghana is a member of the African Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP Group) which has a partnership with the European Union known as the Cotonou Agreement. The main objective of the ACP-EU Partnership Agreement is to promote sustainable development of Member States and provide a framework for negotiations and agreements. The Mission participates actively in the activities and deliberations of the ACP and has achieved a lot for Ghana and the West African Region in collaboration with, and through the collective effort of the Group.
The Mission is in the process of upgrading its Consular System and Services which would enable customers, among others, to apply for passports and visas online and to make payments for services in the same manner. In this context, customers may wish to note that Consular Fees will be revised upwards nominally with effect from 1st November, 2013.
