Welcome to the Ghana Embassy, Brussels
The Ghana Mission in Brussels is accredited to the Kingdom of Belgium, The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the European Union and is responsible for the co-ordination, promotion and protection of the national interest of Ghana and Ghanaians in the host countries in a manner as to meaningfully contribute to the enhancement of the country's security and socio-economic development. The Mission provides an efficient one-stop reference for general information on Ghana for the effective promotion of trade, investment and tourism.
Ghana is a member of the African Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP Group) which has a partnership with the European Union known as the Cotonou Agreement. The main objective of the ACP-EU Partnership Agreement is to promote sustainable development of Member States and provide a framework for negotiations and agreements. The Mission participates actively in the activities and deliberations of the ACP and has achieved a lot for Ghana and the West African Region in collaboration with, and through the collective effort of the Group.
Diaspora Community Survey
The Ghana Embassy in Belgium is mandated by the Diaspora Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana to conduct a survey of the Ghanaian
Diaspora Community in Belgium to learn more about them and the development issues they care about.
The information provided in this survey will be treated with utmost confidentiality and will be used for only statistical purposes. All Ghanaians living in Belgium are therefore strongly encouraged to take part in this all important survey.
